LearnLux

Partnerships & Business Development Manager

September 2020 - August 2021

LearnLux is an early-stage fin-tech company that offers financial wellbeing benefits to enterprise employers, including access to a digital platform and one-on-one guidance from CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals.

As the company’s first and only full-time sales team member, I wore many hats. I managed a months-long sales cycle including lead generation, outbound (account-based-marketing) communications, inbound lead nurturing, product demos, completing RFP/RFIs, pricing, and sales funnel management. In addition to direct sales, I built and nurtured strategic relationships with brokers, benefits consultants, and other employee benefits and wellness thought leaders. My passion for public speaking and presentations also led me to developing and hosting the company’s “Financial Wellbeing Info Session” webinars, a monthly recurring lead-generation event that attracted hundreds of target customers and informed them about the importance of offering employees personal finance resources and how LearnLux could help. This initiative also allowed me to host several other webinars, including “The F Word: What Nobody Told You About Personal Finance” and “The Benefits Gender Gap: Elevate Your Total Rewards to Empower Women in Your Workforce”. Given the “all-hands-on-deck” environment, I also leveraged my professional background to develop an effective enterprise pricing model and often supported other marketing and customer success initiatives.

Key Accomplishments:

  • Increased total company revenue by over 300% year over year through new customer acquisition

  • Developed and deployed innovative account-based-marketing campaigns to generate MQLs and move prospective customers down the sales funnel, including monthly prospecting events attended by 200+ target customers

  • Built a dynamic enterprise pricing model based on competitor research and insights from customers and trusted partners

  • Improved the RFP/RFI process by creating a searchable answer bank and proposal deck, driving the completion of 15 proposals with an above average win rate

  • Partnered with product, marketing, content, and sales to improve product offerings and effectively communicate new product launches to prospective customers

  • Proposed a “Women’s History Month” initiative, which included the development of two events focused on how employers can support the financial, mental, and physical health of women in their workplace
